Innocent Ddamulira
Innocent is a Partner at DIT Advocates.
He heads the Transactions and Corporate advisory department of the firm. The department supports Local and international entities to navigate complex business transactions and also offers all round legal support to corporate entities.
He is a commercial Lawyer with past experience working with listed Corporations. Until December 2019, Innocent was the Legal and Regulatory Compliance Manager for Umeme Limited supporting the Board and Management in driving the company’s Legal and Regulatory compliance agenda.
Immediately prior to setting up DIT Advocates, Innocent worked with a leading law firm where he advised/represented Government entities, regulators, Financial Institutions and corporate entities.
He has extensive understanding of Board and management affairs, General litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Private and Corporate Finance, strategic Investing, Mortgage finance, Corporate & retail recoveries, Guarantee arrangements, Loan arrangements, Employment/labour, Regulatory Compliance and Business structuring.
Innocent believes in being predictive in approach and offering timely, innovative and commercially prudent solutions to client’s problems. He is currently a trustee licenced by URBRA and member of the boards of two corporate entities.
He is an Advocate of all Courts of judicature of Uganda, Member of the Uganda Law Society and East Africa Law Society.
Innocent is a holder of a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Law Development Centre (LDC) Kampala and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB), Makerere University Kampala, Uganda.

Ndegwe Michael Emmanuel
Michael is a Partner at DIT Advocates.
Michael heads the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. The department supports several local and international clients in varied sectors including employment, immigration, compliance, structuring and taxation.
Prior to setting up DIT Advocates, Michael worked at a leading Law Firm in Kampala since August 2009, where he gained expertise supporting both private and government entities in litigation, compliance and transactions over the years. Michael’s areas of practice have been; Commercial and corporate practice, Land Transactions General Litigation, Immigration, Family Law Practice, Employment Law and Taxation.
Michael is an Advocate of the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court and all courts subordinate, is a member of Uganda Law Society and East African Law Society.
Michael holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Law Development Centre (LDC) Kampala, Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Institute of Legal Practice and Development, Rwanda-Nyanza and Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB), Makerere University Kampala, Uganda.

Patrick Muwanga
Patrick is a Partner at DIT Advocates.
He heads the Strategic Projects Department of the firm. With vast experience in Commercial transactions, Patrick has consistently been ranked as a highly regarded lawyer by his contemporaries and also described as efficient, pragmatic and with great Client Management skills.
He provides Strategic Commercial advice on cutting-edge transactional work across sectors like Banking, Insurance, manufacturing, Telecom and Energy.
He routinely handles due diligence and advises on transactional structuring.
Patrick has an impressive knowledge of the local regulatory framework and is commended for his advice on compliance issues, licensing requirements and issues affecting local and foreign investors.
He is a practicing Advocate of the Courts of Judicature of Uganda, Member of the Uganda Law Society and East Africa Law Society.
